Sync to Apple Reminders
If you’d rather keep your grocery list somewhere that shows up alongside your other reminders, marinaid can sync it directly to Apple Reminders.
Turning it on
Section titled “Turning it on”- Go to Account → Groceries.
- Turn on Sync to Reminders.
- Choose which Reminders list to use — you can pick an existing list or create a new one in Reminders first.
How it stays in sync
Section titled “How it stays in sync”Once it’s on, syncing goes both ways:
- New items you add to your marinaid grocery list appear as reminders in the list you chose.
- Checking an item off in marinaid marks the matching reminder as completed, and completing a reminder in the Reminders app checks it off in marinaid.
Shared lists
Section titled “Shared lists”If you use a shared iCloud Reminders list with your household, each device sharing it may need to pick that list once from Account → Groceries before sync starts working on that device.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”If Reminders access is disabled, enable it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Reminders. If sync still isn’t working, try turning Sync to Reminders off and back on, or choosing the list again.
Other ways to shop your list
Section titled “Other ways to shop your list”- Order through Instacart — turn your list into a delivery order.
- Use marinaid’s built-in grocery list — add ingredients from your recipes, check items off as you shop, and share the list with your household.
