Recipe Notes & Ratings
After cooking a recipe, you can leave feedback to help yourself (and your household) remember what worked and what to adjust next time.
Rating a recipe
Section titled “Rating a recipe”- Open the recipe you just cooked.
- Tap the star rating below the recipe title.
- Select 1 to 5 stars.
Your rating is visible to anyone in your household who shares the recipe.
If you finish a cooking session without rating the recipe, Marinaid may send you a reminder notification (“How was it? Add a rating in Marinaid”) so it doesn’t get forgotten.
Adding cooking notes
Section titled “Adding cooking notes”- Open the recipe and scroll to the Notes section.
- Tap Add Note.
- Write your thoughts — “Needed 5 more minutes in the oven” or “Kids loved this one.”
- Tap Save.
Notes are timestamped and sync across your devices.
Cook History
Section titled “Cook History”Every time you finish a cooking session, Marinaid logs it. Tap Cook History on the recipe to see a timeline of when you’ve made it, alongside the notes and rating from each time.
- Use notes to track substitutions you made so you remember next time.
- Rate recipes after cooking them — over time, you’ll build a clear picture of your household favorites.
- Notes, ratings, and cook history sync automatically via iCloud, so your household members see them too.
